Now that the printed word is less in demand, it's time for the Society to put all those Bethelites to work assembling their own JW.org Tablets and avoid using these tainted apple products in thier worship. Maybe that's why they're building that big compound in upstate NY even though they are scaling back on everything else.

Singapore: The Religious consequences of Tim Cook coming out as gay
by fulltimestudent inas if we needed any further evidence that the minds of christians are not all that they should be, the shenagins in the christian segment of the christian segment of the singapore population once again demonstrated that each time they fart, they blow some of their brains away, and sadly they fart so much that there's not much brain left.. i guess most people have heard that time cook (boss of apple) publically stated this week that he was gay and proud of it.
in most of the western world, it barely caused a ripple, but not so in singapore where christians are always lobbying the government against sin.. but, tim cook as a gay man provoked the ire of the singaporean church leadership.. i have not heard that anyone claimed that using an apple iphone would make you gay, but prominent church leader lawrence khong, was commissioned as an apostle by dr. peter wagner, of the international coalition of apostles, in 2000. .
on hearing the news about tim cook, lawrence khong stop using iphone and even denounced technology altogether.

Human kindness
by stillin ini hold kindness in high regard; it separates us from the drudgery of life and elevates those who practice it as well as those who receive it.
my family has been going through a big crisis for several weeks now and i've noticed a few things.
several of the elders have expressed their concern for us, shared a scripture and then back out to field service or whatever.

Oh, the irony.
by disposable hero of hypocrisy intoday i was sat in a car full of jaydubs on the way home from the circuit assembly, and the discussion turned to halloween and how to avoid trick or treaters!.
seriously, there was talk of pulling curtains shut across front doors and how disgusting it was that parents let their children knock on doors , and how annoying it is to get a knock on the door knowing it's an uninvited person!
had to bite my tongue... .

The book 1984 was published in 1949 and spoke of many technological advances that weren't known then. These have since been invented and are currently in use. Was the author George Orwell divinley inspired?
Television has been around since the late 1940's but JW's never took advantage of it to spread their "lifesaving news" which could have been televised worldwide in a matter of minutes. Instead they plodded from door to door with poorly written literature, claiming that when the message is finally spread, the end will come.

remember, it's 27,000 pedophiles that they know about.

I think, instead that I should leave an open file on the computer at home with many of the news links for the latest court cases in San Diego and with Candice Conti.
One could also download the information onto Flash drives with JW.org printed on the side and leave them lying around at the Kingdom Hall, Assembly Hall or out in the parking lots of these places.

Typically, the Society only reports this kind of news when disaster befalls JW's who STAYED HOME from an assembly or meeting, making it seem as though they'd have been spared had they attended like they were supposed to. They'll just chalk this accident up to "time and unforseen occurances" .

Rather than being a photo of an actual pendant made with a JW slogan on it, the slogan on the pendant in the opening post looks it's photoshopped to me. If you enlarge the photo you can see that the letters are transparent and the shine is only on the pendant underneath the letters rather than on the letters. It looks like they photoshopped the JW slogan onto a photo of a pendant. I'm not convinced that anyone is really selling such an item.
